Solovair
Solovair, founded in 1881 as the Northamptonshire Productive Society (NPS), is a British footwear manufacturer renowned for its high-quality, handcrafted shoes made in England. In 1960, NPS collaborated with R. Griggs & Co. to develop the first shoe featuring an air-cushioned sole, which later became known as Dr. Martens. Today, Solovair continues to produce handcrafted footwear in England, utilizing the traditional Goodyear welt construction.
